  • Hi, Wali, this is Maria Khalid. I am working as a Manager Cutomer Services in AIG Pakistan, New Hampshire Insurance Company. I have been a part of one of the workshop organised by British Council on “Handling Challenging Customers” conducted by Wajahat Gardezi.

  • I can’t forget my email in last summer, when I asked Wali that this summer I would be teaching a new course of Training & development, kindly help & guide me.

Can anyone believe what he had done? Without knowing much about me, he just gave me his valuable manual of TOT. For a trainer, his manual worth hundreds of thousands rupees and he just gave this on a response to an email. This was thing which inspires me and my journey in search of GURU comes to an end.

Since then I have been with Wali. It is my first experience that I have been with a person who is at a very crucial high position but very down to the earth.
    He is:
    • Guru in his field
    • Visionary
    • Innovative
    • Management thinker

I think, no I am sure that he is the first person who put all his valuable writings and work on the web without charging any money. Any person from any part of the world can get advantage from his writing.

Amazingly he taught 2 new courses at SZABIST, one was unique i.e. when I goggled that topic couldn’t find any answer. The course title was Leadership Readiness.
Second, again a new topic for Pakistani academics and environment i.e. Performance appraisal; what’s wrong with it.

Both these courses are new to Pakistani business schools and even business practitioners aren’t in a position to say something on these topics, but Wali with his team broke all the rules and develop new ideas and theory.

Lastly, I would say he is the emerging Management thinker from Pakistan and he is

    “Asian’s answer to Drucker”

  • Saying something about him won’t be fair enough for the personality like he posses..so i will stay quiet ..
    Thanks for being my mentor..

  • Wajahat Gardezi

Zahid has broken all stereotypes of a conventional Asian Trainer. For the first time he has introduced workshop formats that deliver maximum take-home value to the participants; learning that remains with you even after many years of experiencing his magical moments.

He has always inspired his audience with his deep understanding of society and how people interpret situations.

God has gifted him with humility!

  • I have met Wali on few occassions and became a follower.

He is a motivational figure to all who think “I can do it”.

He possess a soft & pleasant nature which leaves an ever-lasting impression.

I wish him well for his new venture at Skill City.
